We design, produce, build and occasionally manage websites mainly for smaller businesses; they are simultaneously inexpensive and sophisticated – at first sight a dichotomy perhaps?

Not really. A number of elements go into making a website: design, imagery, layout, navigation, content, coding and utility to name a few. Some aspects are relatively inexpensive, some less so. The sites we produce are all totally bespoke yet many share elements in common. Taking a pragmatic approach and keeping to standard methods dramatically reduces costs.

Ultimately we help our clients develop a web presence that really supports their business and their aims - websites which meet the needs of the user as well as the owner. A simple website built in the back bedroom rarely gives the right impression. At Salix, it would be fair to say that the principals are not in the first flush of youth. Yes, this means we might have to sit down during meetings, but it also means we have many years of high level business experience in many markets and sectors to bring to the project and we are happy to share this with you.
